Caroline Nokes, who heads an all-party group on body image, claimed the designer didn't respond to an invitation to discuss the use of dangerously thin models

Victoria Beckham has allegedly snubbed a Parliamentary inquiry's request to discuss the use of underage and dangerously thin models in the fashion industry.
Caroline Nokes MP, the head of the all-party Parliamentary group on body image, has claimed that an invitation sent to designer Beckham and several top model agencies was ignored.
Beckham, 41, was criticised for using 'skeleton-like' catwalk models in her recent show in New York .
“I have written to a number of model agencies including Wilhelmina, Models 1 and Storm and also to Victoria Beckham, whose show at New York fashion week drew such attention to this already concerning problem," Ms Nokes said.
“Sadly, I have received no response from any of them and I think this is a real shame.
"[Victoria] herself has said she wants her designs to be for everybody. She has a great opportunity to show they can be for everybody and has chosen instead to use models who are incredibly thin.
"Having been given the opportunity to take part I very much hope those who have declined to take part will not criticise its conclusions."

Ms Nokes is concerned that a voluntary code of conduct put in place to prevent companies placing pressure on girls to slim unhealthily is not being adhered to.
Her 'body image' Parliamentary group is concerned with tackling the causes ofeating disorders .
A spokeswoman for former Spice Girl Victoria said she was not aware of the invitation and is currently on holiday.
